Hoardly is a place for sharing and celebrating collections. These guidelines help keep the community welcoming and respectful.

Our Values

• Inclusive — We welcome collectors of all backgrounds, interests, and experience levels.
• Safe — We maintain an environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their passions.

Be Respectful

Treat Others with Kindness

• Appreciate the effort others put into their collections
• Provide constructive feedback only when it's been requested
• Celebrate diverse collecting interests and styles
• Assume good intentions in interactions

Respect Privacy and Boundaries

• Honour others' privacy settings — don't share private hoards without permission
• Don't pressure others to share personal information about themselves or their items
• Respect when someone declines to share details
• Don't screenshot or redistribute others' private content

Keep Discussions Civil

• Disagree respectfully and without personal attacks
• Avoid inflammatory language
• Stay on-topic in comments and discussions

Prohibited Content

The following content will be removed and may result in account suspension:

Type	Description
Illegal content	Stolen goods, counterfeit items marketed as authentic, or items banned by law
Hateful content	Hate, violence, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or other protected characteristics
Harassment & bullying	Targeted harassment, threats, doxxing, or sustained negative behaviour toward others
Adult / explicit content	Pornographic or sexually explicit material
Violence & gore	Graphic violence or content depicting harm to people or animals
Spam & manipulation	Spam, scams, phishing, misleading links, or engagement manipulation
IP violations	Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
Misinformation	Deliberately false information about health, safety, or item authenticity

Prohibited Behaviour

• Fraud or deception — misrepresenting items, their condition, or authenticity
• Impersonation — pretending to be another user or brand
• Automated abuse — scraping, bots, or automated bulk actions without permission
• Circumventing moderation — creating new accounts to evade bans

Reporting

If you see content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, use the Report option on the relevant item, post, or profile. Reports are reviewed by the moderation team.

Community moderators have the authority to remove content, issue warnings, and suspend accounts that repeatedly or severely violate these guidelines.
