Joining Communities

How to Join

1. Navigate to Communities in the top menu.
2. Browse or search for a community that interests you.
3. Click Join Community on the community's page.

For public communities, you'll get immediate access. For private communities, your request is sent to the moderators and you'll receive a notification when it's approved or declined.

Invitations

If someone invites you to a private community, you'll receive an in-app notification and an email. Click the link in the notification to accept.

Roles

Role	Permissions
Member	View content, share items/hoards to the community
Moderator	All member permissions + manage posts, approve join requests
Owner	All moderator permissions + manage community settings, assign roles

Being Removed from a Community

If a moderator removes you from a community, you'll lose access to its private content immediately. You can request to re-join if the community is public.
