Wishlist

A wishlist item is an item you want to acquire but don't own yet. Hoardly lets you track these alongside your owned items within a hoard.

Wishlist items have their own tab on the hoard page — the Wishlist tab — which filters the hoard to show only items with a wishlist or ordered status.

Creating a Wishlist Item

1. Go to a hoard and click Add Item.
2. Fill in the item details (name, description, images, etc.).
3. In the Status section, set Acquisition Status to Wishlist.
4. Optionally fill in the wishlist-specific fields (see below).
5. Save the item.

The item will appear in the hoard's Wishlist tab with a badge indicating it's wanted.

Wishlist-Specific Fields

When an item's acquisition status is Wishlist or Ordered, extra fields become available in the Status section of the item form:

Field	Description
Target Price	The maximum you're willing to pay
Priority	Star rating (1–5) indicating how important this item is
Wishlist Notes	Free-text notes — where to look, specific variants you want, condition requirements, etc.

Acquisition Statuses

Status	Meaning	Hoard Tab
Owned	You have this item	Items tab
Wishlist	You want this item	Wishlist tab
Ordered	You've purchased it but haven't received it yet	Wishlist tab

When You Acquire a Wishlist Item

1. Open the item and click Edit.
2. Change Acquisition Status from Wishlist → Owned.
3. Update any relevant fields (acquisition date, actual price paid, better photos).
4. Save the item.

The item will move from the Wishlist tab to the Items tab. All its existing details are preserved.

Viewing Your Wishlist

Navigate to your hoard and click the Wishlist tab. You can sort items by priority to see what to focus on first.
