Finding Things

Hoardly doesn't have a single site-wide search box. Instead, each area has its own search and filter tools.

Searching Within a Hoard

Open a hoard and use the Search items… box above the item grid to match items by name in that hoard.

Next to it, the Filters panel lets you narrow the grid further:

Filter	Description
Tags	Match one or more tags, using ALL (every tag) or ANY (at least one) mode
Custom fields	Filter by the values of fields defined for the hoard
Sort by	Created / updated date, name, price, or most/least liked and commented
Layout	Show cards as landscape, portrait, or square

The Wishlist tab uses the same tools, scoped to wishlist and ordered items.

Browsing Hoards

The Explore Hoards page (sidebar → Explore Hoards) lists public hoards. Use the search box there to find a hoard by name, and the sort control to order the results. Your own private and unlisted hoards always show in your sidebar.

Finding People

To find another user, open Friends from the sidebar and click Add Friend. Search by username in the dialog to send a friend request. The same user search is used when granting hoard permissions.

Finding Communities

Use the Explore Communities page (sidebar → Communities → Discover Communities) to browse and search public communities by name or topic. See Communities.
